The beauty of Bali Ikat Pattern

Hello everyone, related to the last post, i talked about my big interest of fashion and i’m currently running my fashion line named Pitula. I never know perfectly the time when i was in love with ethnic pattern, but i can feel it since i was kid while my mother often took me to the traditional market in Bali. Borned to be a balinese makes me familiar with all kind of bali traditional culture which using a Bali ikat fabric is required. I become more in love with ethnic pattern since my father who often work in one province to another province always brought me a local ethnic pattern fabric. I believe there is a meaning in every each pattern which have a big influence of your personality, either makes you more feminine or makes you look boyish.
In this post i’m trying to emphasize Bali ikat pattern, it’s not only because i’m a balinese who want to promote my local pattern but also the beauty of this pattern. I got this fabric in Sukowati Market, Bali. I designed the looks combining with black chiffon, and went to tailor to be sew. I aim people in my age (21) know that ethnic pattern is not only for the vilaggers or something like traditional things, or maybe only used as a companion of Kebaya, but also can be used for daily looks in a modern way. That’s may be one of the only way to produce our local products.
